If you look at the cause for the sudden rise in votes for EN-san and Miyuran you can see 80% newly registered accounts from 3rd and 2nd May with 0 posts.

Of course it could be that these are not accounts made by the same persons, but real friends of the contestants in question. But it's not cool in any case to influence the results to that extent.
sad but true. how about admin give point to each finalist's submission and add with the vote. the vote only seems not fair after i read your post, and check it by myself.

That way we know the votes come from people who play, rather than just people who like an artist.

I'm having a hard time choosing what to vote for. I notice that tiny details really make a lot of difference to me. Like the Cupid in night setting appealing much more than the others, even though that is just background and not really the core of the drawing.

I think I'll end up voting for a Love Potion though, simply because I see the art working as a spell or follower, while Cupid is follower only and Puppy Love is spell only in my eyes. Of course that is just my opinion.

I agree with this post as well.
The influx in fake votes is too high to just ignore it.

I guess another possibility would be only letting players who created their account before the contest even started vote.

I voted for the Love Potion by meguro.

I really love the colors that are used in it. And since there are not too many colors and details this card will also still be nice when it is smaller. But when you look closely there are alot of nice details in this art piece! And making a love potion has something dark to it, thats why i think meguro's card is the best. The other two look more like happy cooking and that does not really fit the scene in my opinion.
My second choice for the love potion would be fateline because it still is a very nicely done artwork. Nice sunshine effects etc.
EN_san's work is not on the same level and i think it won't look nice when the card is smaller. Not that i have the best taste of everyone here, but this smells like vote cheating.

It is a big shame though that there is some kind of outside cheating in this contest. Like previously mentioned there should be some requirements like #100 games played or so. Most people in the active community will have played that number easily and it also ensures that the card art that wins is something that a majority of the active community likes!

I vote for Love Potion by fateline.
It has really nice colors and lighting and I can imagine it more of an in-game card than any of the other pictures because of its more realistic and colorful look.
